Youth in Action

Updated: Feb 25, 2021

Episode Two

Episode Description

This week we get real about the consequences of growing up fighting the climate crisis, and things we wish we knew back when we were kids.

We also discuss some of the brilliant and innovative youths working to combat climate change, and how to make sure these young but powerful voices are heard across the globe.

The individuals we bring up in this episode (including Autumn Peltier, Mari Copeny, Feliquan Charlamagne, Elsa Mengitsu, as well as the 15 Canadians that contributed to La Rose et. al. v Her Majesty the Queen) are achieving some Earth-shaking feats, but they are certainly not alone.

The amount of passion and bravery bursting out of this younger generation is beyond admirable, and gives us so much hope for a more sustainable future.
