This week is all about the ways in which our governments do not live up to their word. From promises of funding, to policy reform, to debt relief, government bodies around the world consistently fail to deliver on the promises they make to their people.

Our discussion in this episode revolves around how some governments lack the balls to take real action on environmental issues, and how more often than not, the outlined initiatives and goals set are merely performative deeds that aren't achieved.

We touch on everything from outdated international agreements, like the Montreal and Kyoto Protocols, to brand new frameworks and action plans, such as the UN 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and all the issues that seem to fall between the cracks with these policies.
